Suggested Improvements for Ethical Practices by Sheba Roy: 



Accurate Representation:

  • Ensure feeder sites (e.g., Facebook, Healthgrades, LinkedIn) and seminar advertisements do not list the title “Dr.” unless legally and professionally earned with a medical degree and proper licensing in the state of Micihgan.
  • Discontinue the use of misleading email addresses such as dr.roy@aimnatural.com.
  • UPDATE: It appears Facebook page of Associates of Integrative Medicine does not mention Dr. Sheba Roy. It uses Sheba Roy or Sheba Roy, ND.

Safe and Credible Treatments:

  • Avoid offering treatments like colloidal silver or any other discredited or unsafe methods (if applicable. We are unaware of all the treatments Sheba Roy currently uses and may not be using any unsafe treatments. This unfortunately is a blind spot because although Sheba Roy Initiallly agreed to disclose what medical practices she was performing and than changed her mind and decided to try to intimidate a patient with brutal tactics instead of an agreed upon conversation. I can only guess that based off those actions something is not right at AIM Natural.)

Transparent Billing Practices:

  • Clearly disclose charges before services are provided. For instance, unsolicited calls or conversations should not incur surprise fees (e.g., $80 phone call) without prior notice. Especially since this is not a common practice in the medical field. 
  • Absorb standard operational costs (e.g., credit card processing fees) within service rates rather than charging separately, even if that means raising costs above $400 an hour.
  • Provide advance notice and verification for additional charges before billing clients’ credit cards when the visits were months ago. We understand that AIM Natural may have forgotten to charge for $1000 of charges in addition to the ones billed and paid, but ample time to verify should be respected.
  • Avoid intimidation or false claims (e.g., accusing clients of felonies) when disputes arise. Be transparent about prior disputes if asked.

Genuine Reviews:

  • Cease disputing legitimate negative reviews under false claims (e.g., pretending not to recognize clients). Use negative feedback as an opportunity to improve services rather than tarnishing credibility.
  • Avoid manipulating ratings by using employee-written reviews, duplicate accounts, or suspiciously timed ratings.
  • Refrain from using intimidation tactics to discourage clients from posting negative reviews.
  • Refrain from tactics like removing employee lisitng on aimnatural.com instead of removing the deceptive reviews when issues are raised that the employee has the same name as two of the names of the people that left reviews. Ensure reviews are genuine and reflective of actual client experiences.
  • UPDATE: At least two of the reviews on google were left on google have been removed.
  • UPDATE: The three 5 star reviews that were all left within a two minite time period wer removed as well. We don’t know if it was done by google or that one of the reveiwers pointed it out and it hurt the credibility of the positive reviews.  

Recording and Confidentiality:

  • Do not record patient or advocate conversations without explicit permission, as this may be a violation of Michigan law and patient rights.
  • Protect patient confidentiality. Avoid disclosing personal details in situations like police reports or online responses, even when faced with criticism.

Clear Disclaimers:

  • Restore a prominent disclaimer on your website, clarifying that you are not a licensed medical doctor. This transparency is vital for ensuring clients understand the nature of the services offered. See Exhibit A below. This is the disclosure Sheba Roy initially put up and removed. This website would not exist if the disclose was not removed.  


By adopting these practices, Sheba Roy of AIM Natural, Associated Integrative Medicine) could rebuild trust and operate in a way that prioritizes honesty, safety, and respect for her clients. If these ethical standards were met, it is highly likely that this website would be taken down, and efforts to inform doctors and charities through other methods that are currently in process about Sheba Roy’s business practices would cease. Our sole purpose with this website is to protect vulnerable patients from misinformation that could lead to dangerous situations. We have nothing to gain beyond ensuring their safety and well-being.

Sheba Roy of AIM Natural initially displayed a disclaimer on her website acknowledging she is not a licensed medical doctor in Michigan. This came as part of a goodwill agreement to maintain transparency, with the understanding that the site would eventually be removed if there was a prominnent disclaimer.

The disclaimer aimed to prevent confusion, as nurse practitioners with doctorates typically avoid using the “doctor” title to ensure patients are not misled. However, the removal of this disclaimer raises serious concerns about misrepresentation. It appears that when clients became aware that Sheba Roy was not a licensed medical doctor, the impact on her business was too significant, prompting her to take it down.

Further allegations cast doubt on her professional conduct. Sheba Roy reportedly recorded phone conversations with patients and patient advocates without their consent, a potentially illegal act under Michigan law, where healthcare providers cannot record conversations without permission. Additionally, she allegedly filed a police report against a patient advocate for leaving a negative review. The police determined no laws were broken and did not even contact the reviewer, indicating the report was likely a tactic to intimidate and suppress honest feedback. Alarmingly, the police report included confidential patient information that was both irrelevant and inappropriate, raising ethical red flags.

These actions suggest a troubling pattern of behavior. Whether driven by an inflated ego or poor judgment, such actions undermine the trust essential in healthcare.

The misuse of titles like “Dr.” in advertising, email addresses, and reviews referring to her as “Dr. Sheba Roy” further compounds the issue. An informal survey of 10 individuals unanimously concluded they believed she was a licensed physician based off Sheba Roy’s website and facebook page, indicating a deliberate effort to deceive. Platforms such as Healthgrades and LinkedIn continue to promote her services without clarifying her actual credentials, misleading potential clients. The information on these aggregator sites is usually supplied directly by the medical practice.

There are also allegations of manipulation in her online reviews, including intimidation to suppress negative feedback, potential employee-written endorsements, and suspiciously timed positive reviews that later disappear. These practices create a false image of credibility and professionalism, despite her high fees of $400 per hour plus a $12 credit card fee.

Ethical healthcare demands transparency, respect for patient confidentiality, and honesty in representation. If Sheba Roy fails to address these concerns, including clarifying her credentials and ceasing deceptive practices, further public scrutiny or legal action may be necessary to protect vulnerable individuals from harm.

Sheba Roy appears to lack the emotional resilience and capacity necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of a healthcare worker.
